Paralized from the waist down, he sat in his chair ,at the window to watch
the other kids play.
A car accident wasn't going to stop him from being out there with them someday.
Legs that couldn't move but with his eyes he could see.
Wishing from this kind of life someday he could be free.
Doctors told him that there's a chance.
Someday he could learn to walk, maybe even dance.
One day while sitting at the window he felt his toe touch his shoe.
"Mommy Mommy come look what I can do."
In his bedroom doorway stood his mom, she saw what he was talking about.
Tears ran down her face as she said "This is the first day towards hope without a doubt."
A year later he sat at the window in a regular chair.
He was able to move now, he was getting ready to go outside , he was brushing his hair.
At the end of playtime he walked up to his mom and gave her a hug.
Tears ran down her face as he handed her for the first time ,  a bug.

So many parents hope for a day like this to come and to know that there is hope, is an awesome thing. As I read this tears streamed down my face. You've got to see about getting this one published.

i totally agree on that one sometimes us writers need the space to express what we want to say . or to tell our stories .
